| History of Symphion |
Since 1999, Symphion has been a leader in the enterprise technology field, designing and delivering enterprise architecture, enterprise application integration solutions, and implementing other companies’ EAI software. Symphion first operated as an end-to-end enterprise architecture provider, and later as an applications integration solutions provider for companies such as, Liberty Mutual, TXU, CenterPoint Energy and Catholic Health. Symphion also served as an enterprise integration partner for major integrators such as Accenture and CSC.
As a result of this success, Symphion recognized an opportunity to develop more robust enterprise IT management software. In 2005, Pier 1 Imports became Symphion’s first flagship account in this space.

Jim LaRoe, CEO, is a dynamic, competent and capable leader that has a special combination of skills, experience and insight that has driven his entrepreneurial success. Jim is a Rice University engineer, accomplished trial lawyer, repeat successful entrepreneur and the founder and leader of Symphion, a successful international solutions provider establishing clients such as, Accenture, CSC, Liberty Mutual, BEA, Active Software, SeeBeyond, WebMethods, Mercator, TXU, CenterPointEnergy, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Catholic Health, Centura Health, Southwest Airlines, Ryder and many others. In 2005, Jim turned Symphion’s focus completely to producing world class IT management software solutions.

Louis Ritchie, CTO, has been Symphion’s chief technologist and
manager of all research, development and delivery since 2001 with more than 25 years
of experience in designing and implementing large-scale, mission-critical solutions
and products. Louis has lead Symphion’s product development of Symphion’s world
class IT Management software suite. Louis’ management background and experience
includes Manager of Advanced Technologies at Abbott Laboratories, Regional Chief
Technologist at global consultancy, DMR Consulting Group, and Vice President of
Enterprise Integration and Competency Centers at Metamor World Wide. |
